Proposed Acquisition By Lippo Karawaci Tbk ("LPKR") Of Shares In Lippo-Mapletree Indonesia Retail Trust Management Limited (The "Company") And Units In Lippo-Mapletree Indonesia Retail Trust ("LMIR Trust")

The Company, as manager of LMIR Trust, wishes to announce that it has been informed by LPKR that LPKR has today issued an announcement (the "LPKR Announcement") stating, among other things, that LPKR is proposing to make an acquisition of certain shares in the Company and certain units in LMIR Trust. A copy of the LPKR Announcement is enclosed for the information of unitholders of LMIR Trust ("Unitholders").
The Company intends to keep Unitholders updated of developments concerning this matter and will make further announcements in due course.
