The Board's comments on this appointment (including rationale, selection criteria, and the search and nomination process) | The Board, in consultation with Nominating and Remuneration Committee, has approved the appointment of Mr Liew Chee Seng James as Executive Director, with effect from 31 December 2019, following the redesignation of Ms Gouw Vi Ven from Executive Director to Non-Executive Non-Independent Director. Mr Liew was appointed as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer ("CEO") in October 2018 and subsequently the CEO following the cessation of Ms Gouw as CEO on 1 May 2019. The Board believes that Mr Liew will be able to effectively assume the new role as Executive Director of LMIRT Management Ltd., as Manager of Lippo Malls Indonesia Retail Trust ("LMIR Trust"). Mr Liew remains as the CEO of the Manager. |
